Bath Mat
"Bath mat" is a term used to describe two different mat options used within the bathroom. The first may be located within the actual tub or shower to decrease the likelihood of slipping. The second is placed outside of the tub to absorb water as well as to prevent slipping.
For many people, this latter type of bath mat also provides the added benefit of a warmer surface to step on as compared to cold tile. It may also serve as an important element of décor within the bathroom. For that reason, people often select bathroom rugs to complement shower curtains, towels, and other bathroom accessories.
While white may be a standard bath mat color choice, for many people it ends up being highly unideal. This can be true of other pale shades. While they may look great with one's décor at the onset, generally they pick up dirt and stains very quickly. If this is likely to happen and you do not have time to wash your bathmat an above average amount, do yourself a favor and select a darker color.
