Round Rugs
Round rugs are generally selected for their aesthetic purposes. Of course, a round shape may fit particular practical needs. For instance, the area in which the mat is going may be round itself. Also, sometimes dogs and other pets may be drawn to chew on corners of items. Finally, a round shape may better enhance the needs of a particular material.
There are many different patterns which round rugs may have. Even if it is simply a solid shade which a buyer desires, he or she will still have plenty of options as far as texture and size. While a rug may have a generally round layout, the treatment of its edges may vary. For instance, some will still have plenty of tassels or others may hold a flower shape.
Round rugs are often a great design choice for dividing up areas within the room. For the most part, the walls and edges of home interiors are square and boxy. The softer curve of a round rug can still provide some visual organization without encouraging a too sharp and geometric feel.
